Archival Material -- Arnea's Question
In Remember to Wave, Sand's use of archive material is very dominant. Do you feel this supports her words or does the use of these materials distract the reader?
I appreciated the use of archived materials and how it made the text more expansive in both content and form. As a reader I particularly liked the overlay of text and image in the middle portion of the book. and how almost page-to-page the text changes how, precisely, it wants to be approached.
